SPAR Youth Football Jr. Independence Bowl playing on Nov. 17 | Community Spirit

Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation's annual SPAR Youth Football League Junior Independence Bowl will is on Saturday, November 17 at Independence Stadium. The event will feature multiple championship games, tailgating and performances by various youth cheerleader squads and dance teams.  The event is a celebration of SPAR’s Youth Football League.

The championship games are as follows:

• 7 Year Old Flag – 9:00am - Calvary White vs. Calvary Green
• 8 Year Old Tackle – 10:15am - Elite Allstars vs. Calvary Green
• 9 Year Old Tackle – 11:30am - Andrew Currie Lions vs. Port City Thundercats
• 10 Year old Tackle – 12:45am - Louisiana Young Guns vs. Shreveport Hurricanes
• 11 Year Old Tackle – 2:00pm - Evangel Black vs. Evangel White
• 12 Year Old Tackle – 3:15pm - Xpress Sports, Inc. vs. Evangel White

All players, coaches, parents and supporters of SPAR’s Youth Football League are encouraged to attend the big event in support of our youth.  Come out and enjoy the championship games.  You may be watching the next Morris Claiborne, Dennis Morris, Arnez Battle, Jacob Hester, Keyunta Dawson, Jon Alston, or Jonathan Wade, each an NFL player who played in SPAR’s Youth Football League.  Let’s pack the stadium for SPAR’s Youth Football Superbowl!
